We are in LOVE with our Thai food, so eating in Thailand is a yearly must for us. Our love for this country started way back in 2011 and although we haven’t had the chance to visit recently you will always hear us suggesting to our friends to go for a visit.

If you are about to take a voyage to Thailand, make sure you take this list with you to get you started. These are some must eats in Thailand.

Fried Omelette with rice

In Bangkok, on Soi Rambuttri, there is a little bar called Gecko Bar, which only serves food during the day. Here we go every morning for their amazing coffee and tasty fried omelette with rice. I am usually against eating something like this for breakfast, but Dean has it every day and once I tried it I too become addicted. Also a great place for pre-dinner drinks.

Tom Yum

This is something that really does not need to be said. Tom Yum is THE best soup in my opinion. One of the absolute must eats in Thailand.

Fried Rice

In Chiang Mai I found my nightly obsession! Aroy Dee, which is a tiny little hole in the wall restaurant on Mun Mueang Road. This place only serves 4 dishes and man do they do them beyond amazingly. Going anywhere else for dinner took a lot of convincing for me. After eating their fried rice I have not been able to eat it anywhere else. No.1 place to eat if you are staying in the old town!

Really the list could be endless on what to eat in Thailand, but is a good place to start. Make sure you try one of each of the curries too while you are at it.
